Does anyone know of any companies that make organic horse feed? I'm trying to find out on behalf of an organic farm that wants to have horses on the land, and would technically need them to poo organic pony poo!

Could obviously feed organic straights, but would like a ready-made mix/nut for simplicity if poss. I've googled, but am not having much luck, any info would be appreciated!

Our land is organic and we keep horses, there is no requirement to feed the horses organic feed, we feed our own organic haylage. Any horse feed which is GM free is acceptable.
Regarding horse wormers, any containing Ivermectin are not approved.

Ah, thanks ECIDevon! I'll ask, maybe it's just that they 'want' to rather than 'have' to. Thought it a bit odd that there's such a lack of organic horse feed out there if horses had to be organic.
Still, maybe a huge gap in the market for a feed company, all the people that eat organic might want to feed their horses that way too?! Maybe I'll go on Dragon's Den!

You dont have to feed organic feed, my horses on an organic farm....you just have to fill a form in for the soil association saying you are GM free (which all the leading suppliers are)
