Orphan Puppies Day 4

Well, the puppies are 6 days old today, and onto day 4 of being without mum, and are all gaining weight well.

The tiny one is catching up rapidly and is still with the pussy cat, though being topped up with formula. I'm hoping that in the next few days he'll be strong enough to latch onto the foster mum.

Foster mum's doing a great job, something's clicked with her and she's taken them as her own, cleaning them up and everything, I actually got almost a full nights sleep last night!

I just thought all of those who were so helpful and forthcoming with advice, and also those who sent very much appreciated PM's at a very dark time when things were looking bleak would like to know.

Oh well done, what a relief! On top of they aren't your pups, I think you're being brilliant about it (but what else could you do eh?!) How's the actual Mum now?

The actual mum died MFH, hence the owner having such a hard time of it and me doing the babies.

We're getting there though...I'm hoping that the owner will come and see them in the next few days, fingers crossed...
