My ancient 3.5t project is edging along

the walls are lined with plywood and I have some EVA matting for them and the partitions

The floor is metal, all intact and looks fine

I have some old fashioned heavy matting for the floor and was planning to use plywood as a sub base between that and the metal

I have had a leaflet in the post promoting OSB board today (I get such interesting post lol) it is supposedly very strong, the leaflet is very persuasive! is this an option maybe? my worry is that the edges would get damp and start to come apart

In saying that my hay store is made out of it and is fine

Any thoughts?

I wouldn't, personally. I'd never compromise on floor strength, get the best buffaloboard and seal the edges with bitumen.

I don't know whether its a good idea for a lorry floor but OSB is water tight so long as the edges aren't cut-if you have to cut to fit, you'd need to get it properly sealed again.

Buffaloboard will be lighter and not THAT much more expensive (OK only about £80 a sheet more!) but it is tougher. Cut edges will still need to be sealed to b***ery.
