So after my post last week about his scar I decided it best to call in the vet to put my mind at rest. Local vet said he felt like a couple of the stitches had dissolved a bit faster than the rest, which is why/how we could see a bit of fluid build up around the scar area.

My vet rang Rossdales to see if they wanted to see/scan him just to make sure all was well and they did. So took him back yesterday and he was scanned and checked out by about 4 different people and they all said exactly what my local vet thought.

They are very happy with his progress in general and think that the best thing we can do is get riding!!! This will help tighten up his muscles and support the problem area.

So, as Im preggie Ill be doing all the boring inhand stuff to start with and then sis will be getting on board at the weekend!

Ah that's great! Put your mind at rest at least, and great that he can be brought into work! At least you have the pregnant "excuse" to avoid any initial over-exuberance in his ridden work
