Can anyone recommend the best supplement to help my horse with more movement in his hocks. The injections are so expensive I cannot afford to keep this going. Thanks.

My friend swears by the Immubiome products but I just use danilon

Check with your vet re the injection price. There’s a choice of ‘ingredients’ from medium to eye watering on the price front. They may think yours could be suitable for a different sort that’s cheaper.

It is unlikely that a supplement will provide the same clinical result as the steroid injection. They are a support, not a treatment. Some vets debate whether they are effective at all. The injections should last 6 - 12 months. If you’re needing them more frequently it may be time to discuss alternatives with your vet.
