Having a light hearted conversation with others on the yard, about what we should call ourselves other than 'groom'.

Can you come up with anything that makes it sound perhaps more glamorous than it is!?!? Lets face it, we all pick up poo!

Livery Attendant; Pooper Scooperer; Equine Excrement Executive; these obviously focus on the nitty-gritty (well s****y), so to be more glamourous how about Equine Life-enhancement Technician?

I had an 18 month stint on working on a yard after graduating uni (I timed graduating nicely with the recession :D) before starting my office based career. I put it down on my CV as an Equine Technician & so far it has got a better response than groom would ...! It seems to be more relatable to non-horsey folk.

I bring them breakfast in bed, brush their hair, clean up after them, and spend most of my waking moments considering their needs above my own - I think my forum name says it all!
