I'm interested in a direct off-the-track buddy but the groom was kinda negative towards me buying him and in the end, he let go he has tendinitis, and that the horse was sore again to the point he didn't want to send me a vid of the horse trotting saying he's useless and broken.
The horse had a fall in August, raced three more and since January he stopped all possible activity and has been in his box without the possibility to move, no paddock, no walkings, just inside the box.
I have seen this horse in person, they just walked him and I was really asleep to ask them to trot him but overall seemed fine, they recorded me walking him and I saw the videos several times and the horse seems ok, there's also a video of the horse walking in march and he also seems ok
but I'm quite ignorant about health issues, never owned a horse before so ( Have a lot of experience riding but not caring, it's sad tbh)
I want to retrain him to compete in high levels of dressage, is tendinitis workable? or is it something that doesn't have a cure or a solution?
The best thing would be to have a vet check him but I want to know if it's really worth it ( I'm short of money so I'd love to know in advance if its an end career condition or if it has a treatment or depends on how severe is it)
