He had his first booster tonight and the Vet was asking how he had been after our 'incident'

He then went on to say he had used Otto's X-Rays in a lecture recently!

Do you think we should ask for a discount on our bill as we have provided such a useful learning tool??

That's nothing compared to some of the stories I've heard! Fish Hooks, Bags of Cement, Pin Tubs full of Pins, Plastic Toys (both of the child and 'adult' nature!!) and tin cans, but the worst was the Springer puppy that ate a kilo of gravel because it had a bit of fat on it, his stomach nearly ruptured and they were taking handful after handful out of him in surgery!

Our old vet, grinning his head off, handed my mother one of the two pairs of tights that he extracted from the innards of our old girl, in a see-through plastic bag.
They had been navy, but had turned green and slimy on their travels around her intestine

Maybe we could start feeding him 'interesting' objects to order for Educational X-Rays!

I think you should, and if you do, can we get in on the act?
Dalmatian dog (my parents) has had 3 emergency surgeries to remove things she shouldn't from her insides.

In the past she's stolen/eaten pens, pencils, pineapple, a box of freddos, toys, clothes, potatoes, bread, mobile, rubbish, cat litter, gravel etc. Toilet roll is a favourite tho. All in a days work for Spotty dog :s Doesn't seem to matter how tidy the house is, turn your back for two minutes, edible or not it will be gone.
She does have epilepsy tho and is on close to 20 tablets a day so she does sort of have an excuse
