And he had great fun!

We took him to the local woods, he ran around like a loony, but kept having to check back that we were still with him!

He also managed to fall in the lake THREE times!

He has been like this...

All afternoon

Have just made him some liver cake, and now the house STINKS! :

Awwww I used to walk mine through those woods

Glad he was a good boy and had fun (well apart from falling into the lake

)

Islay managed NOT to be good today - she took off after a rabbit, then did the 'selectively deaf greyhound' act for the next ten minutes until I caught her

We had a free and frank discussion about whether it was right for her to do that, and she got put back on the lead

Talisker had a nice time pootling around in the sunshine whilst I ran around the field after Islay though

Tomorrow he might go to Malverns for a looky! OH has got the day off work, so we can take him somewhere nice!

Those are the woods I ride Hen through, so we decided for a first walk they were a good choice, as I knew where I was going, and we we're unlikely to bump into anyone!

Otto is a good one for the selective hearing (well lack of training actually!) his particular weakness at present is the chickens! I am praying that one of them turns around and pecks him!

He was attacked by either the goat, a pig or the extra strong pig fencing yesterday, so has decided goat chasing isn't that much fun!

How is Talisker? Any better?

I must admit my two are rubbish on the Malverns - lovely lovely walking area, but mine are always far too interested in the blessed sheep
blush.gif
So they have to stay on leads...and then they spend the whole walk lunging after rabbits and nearly pulling me over
grin.gif

LOL about poor Otto and the goat, perhaps mine need some intensive goat training to stop them chasing everything in sight
blush.gif
Chickens unfortunately do not tend to survive when they encounter my dogs

Talisker is much better today thanks, I think the antibiotics must be kicking in at last
smile.gif
After having chronic diarrhoea he was back to 'normal' this morning, but he was slightly surprised when I gave him a big hug afterwards, I was so relieved
blush.gif
(hmmm, really nutty dog owner here

) I speak to the vets tomorrow to get his test results, so I'm keeping fingers crossed everything is OK for him
smile.gif

I will keep mine crossed too!

Otto doesn't actually chased the chickens to catch them (he is too scared for that!) He just wants to follow them, but obviously the chickens don't see it that way!

Good point about the sheep actually, hmm, perhaps we shall rethink the walk until we have more control!
