Was at the field today, almost finished packing away my things and came out of the shelter to find a big 17.2hh belgium warmblood standing infront of me...
Now, the shelter door was open, and on the inside of the door there are some very large screws which have been bent downwards to prevent getting stabbed....
Now this big fluffy beast wanted me to rub his face, so as i Tried to walk past him, he pressed his head against my tummy, squashing me against the inside of the stable door (!) and actually managed to lift me off the ground (While rubbing my back against these screws!!)
Now my t-shirt....how can i describe it....happened to have gaps EXACTLY where the screws decided to attack my back...
Luckily, somehow managed to jump off his head (by which i mean haul myself sideways, not literally stand on his head and dive off) :D
Now, got a grazed back :( doesnt hurt now but hurt at the time!!
Ahhh...The way horses show they love you

Oh dear ... I was out at the field checking Dylan the other day, and one of the other liveries squashed me against the gate with his bum because he wanted me to scratch it! Both funny and alarming at the same time, my friend had to come and rescue me lol.

Oh Jadey that sounds painful! Mine has a very itchy head at the moment due to the flies, I greet him in the field and it's a carpet of flies on his face..we get to the gate and he does what your big chap did...as I turn to lock the gate he rubs his head very vigorously up and down my back as his eyes are weepy. Part of it makes me laugh as it doesn't hurt as such and is quite ticklish in places but I'm careful he doesn't get too carried away and push him off if he takes it too far.

LOL! yeah i dont mind when the other horses rub against me, but this big fella can literally lift me off the ground with just his head!
It was quite painful :( the -cry for a few seconds from the pain then realise your going to live after all- kind of pain

hehe, don't you just love em! We had a weird couple walking through the field yesterday, stopping every few feet to take photos. I was about to go and tell them to 'do one' as they were paying a lot of attention to the horses in the next field when Rafferty decided he wanted to rub his face. He literally pushed the woman about 20 yards and she was shi**ing herself. They didn't stop to take any more pics, they couldn't get out of the field fast enough, we were in hysterics and yes, I went into the field to allow him to rub his face on my back after they had gone.
