I've had a bit of a sore spot on one of my feet for a while - had a good look under bright light this evening and there was a damn dog hair that had worked its way right under the skin:eek: I had to take it out with a needle and the tweezers:eek::eek: Ouch!

Ruddy dogs!

That happened to me when I was a little girl, my mum took me to doctors because I could hardly walk, turned out I had several dog hairs in the ball of my foot. My poor mum was mortified! I vaguely remember it was very painful so sympathies Spudlet.

It used to happen quite a lot with Barney, because of course he had the rough Lab outer coat that just stuck straight in the soles of your feet. But Hen has such lovely soft fur, I never thought it could happen with his hair! Good job he has black hair as it was right under the skin:o I wouldn't have been able to see it if he'd been a lighter colour.

It's probably a sign that I don't hoover enough:o

Ooh I get Pads hairs stuck in the top of my foot (had about 5 now :o) I think it's the type of hair it is - spikey and straight, and they somehow get into my socks and work their way under the skin.

Sounds gross but I actually like pulling them out :p

Hairdressers get it a lot apparently and for that reason are supposed to wear shoes and not flip flops.
