Decided to clip Trike today...okay it's a little late in the season, but he's a SJ'er....and got a dressage comp tomorrow with OH. Soooo...he's not a great fan and it always takes ages to get anywhere near his head. However ! While being careful in the n/s stifle region he decides to test my reflexes with a cow kick...........................I Fail

Sh1t ! It hurts like hell ! Caught me about 3 inches below my knee....right on the boney / muscley part at the top of the shin..................

No broken skin fortunately, but OH fed some of her happy / hippy tablets (arnica ?!?!)....the bottle of red seems to working best though
