Ouch!

When i got back from the stables earlier, i was just getting changed when i felt a sharp pain in my leg underneath my jodphurs sort of like a needle going in to my leg.

Whiped my clothes off and got changed, anyway i ended up falling asleep on my sofa.

I have just gone to jump in the bath and noticed that where this sharp pain was i have a blister about the size of a penny!

Do you think i have been bitten by something? I have rechecked my jodphurs and there is nothing there now that could of caused it?

the dreaded horsefly is infamous for biting through whatever and slwoly reacting hence leaving a lump a few hours later

A friend of mine has told me of being bitten while poo picking and feeling dreadful, as if she was going to die!!!! A few hours later she felt ok again..... weird, assume a horse fly of some description!!

I did wonder about a horsefly as my mom was bitten by one last year and the blister was the size of a golf ball etc.

The only thing is i had on thick leather riding boots and i didnt feel the pain until i was in my house and i took my boot off and what ever it was, was inside the jodphurs?
