So decided it was time for Cibelle and Jayson to come off holiday, also I needed to move Legs and Price to a new field at mine - legs is having a bit longer off, what with being 17.2 now and only 5 and Price isn't starting until about Feb time.
Loaded Legs and Cib fine , went to load price, nice and organised, had lunge line on each side to help guide her in just in case as shes only 3 - but has always loaded fine. She hesitated but went, then had a thought half way up stumbled, went down on her knees and well some how made this mess - with boots on

Thankfully I have an amazing vet who came straight away and made a very good job I think, she will be fine but is now stood in for a few week so some, stitches holding, super quick healing vibes would be much appreciated!!

OW OW OW, poor old thing, I bet that gave you a scare as well.

Healing vibes to your girl, and wine and a choccie brownie for you

Ouch indeed. That must have been awful for you to watch & not be able to stop it happening. Honestly, horses would hurt themselves in a padded cell.

Oh that looks very nasty, well done to the vet on getting it stitched.

I always bandage as I feel boots are just pointless (having seen them fold away from the leg when a horse went down on the) I get grief for being so fussy and over protective but I'll keep note of this for next time I'm told I should just get boots.

Thank you, poor little mare. Glad you think vets handy work is quite good to, not so glad Jayson is out in the field and she is in his stable

Yes, I cant believe how far down its gone with the boot on, and it was still on after she'd done it....mmm bandages or just a padded sell maybe?!
