Beatle was doing her first event and all went quite well
grin.gif
she did a nice dressage all 6's and 7's and got 36.5
grin.gif
bit of a rush to the SJ cus had to help Cass get Louis ready so I did not watch anyone and had left Beatle too it abit..... cut to the chase.... she jumped really nicely gave every fence miles but she went very very slowly
crazy.gif
as she came by me after fence 5 or 6 I said go faster
shocked.gif
anyway she got clear but with 10 time pens
shocked.gif
Sacked jockey for 30 sec
smirk.gif
but she is only 12 year and was try to go clear and will of learn from it etc
grin.gif
..... on to the xc and want really well no problems with speed this time and came round well within the time
grin.gif
so double clear in first event......

to top it all she came 10th and got a rosette (without the SJ time faults she would of been 5th ) so over the moon in the end.

So great start to BE

A DC and a rosette - what a fabulous result for Beatle's first go at BE. You must be very proud of her for doing so well

Super result, but I echo watch out if you speak to the rider, best to agree a set of signals first like scratching your head !
A place is a really good start, don't forget to look on BE and see just how many others you beat
grin.gif
that always makes it feel even better...

Be careful with the signals even - someone local to me was called in front of the stewards for outside assistance in the XC. The helper wore a stop watch and had set signals to give the rider if they were too fast or too slow. Control picked it up with binoculars.
