Sorry for those who dont like self indulgent posts but i need to tell horsey people.
For those dont know/remember i have a grade B turned to dressgae last November as she damaged her high suspensory and didnt feel the need to continue jumping and risk further injury to her.
She is a Chesnut Irish TB mare-says it all really!
So we started dresage and a year on after 3 hour lessons in the pitch black just trying to get her to walk without jogging and to perhaps be soft.
We have won our local Open Prelim summer league dressage with 1st, 2nd and a 4th place. And second in the restricted Prelim summer league (yes i know makes no sense)
And got snapped for our 3rd appearance this year in local mags!!!!
One very happy mummy and now since were nearly going through 70% each time were off to novice level.
Just wanted to share my Happiness with like minded people!
Sorry!
