Some of you may remember I enquired about turnout for Ridden Hunter and what was expected etc....
Well yesterday we took the plunge and entered our first ridden hunter class..... Odie absolutely loved it.... although I swear he kept looking for the white boards all the time! However he really enjoyed the gallop/extend bit and didn't get silly with a ring full of other horses either!!!
And we came third!!!! We have also qualified for the Amateur Showing Society Championship next year!!!
So all in all, a very enjoyable outing, which made a nice change from dressage.... (I never realised just how much pressure was involved with dressage!!! as yesterday we were so relaxed and were able to just enjoy ourselves!)
