Being ex riding school and a shire x he thinks he knows all the tricks in the book. The thing is he knows he's being cheeky and then tries to look all cute :D. We are being strict with him though as at 16.3hh he needs to have manners!

Also do you think geldings are more mouthy? He likes to play with the lead rope and grooming brushes!!

Oh and today he was cheeky because he wouldn't pick his feet up for my friend, we insisted he did and so he picked her riding hat up and dropped it on the floor...... And they say animals have no sense of humour - I think we've found a right one :) xx

My two mares aren't mouthy at all but my colt on the other hand is a completely different story. Leadropes, headcollars, rugs, feed buckets, water buckets, brushes, hoof pick, wheelbarrow, fork and broom he's in to the lot!! Carries his feed bucket for me and also drops it over the stable door when he's finished eating. Everything has to stay out of reach :D!
Did make a mistake the other day though as I left a rug where I didn't think he could reach, but he did.. And dragged it in to his stable and wee'd all over it :(

Sounds like your new horse has loads of character, they make you smile all the time :D
