He was a stray, he was picked up on teh A429 last Saturday and we brough him home last Sunday. Police and local animal shelter informed bt no-one has come forward for him so according to the animal shelter, now we've ept hima week and nobody has come forward he can be ours! So here is Harry, he is as deaf as a post and the stuff on him is concrete it is coming off slowly (these pics where taken last week) and he has filled out more and his coat is in better condition. Here he is ...

Aah bless him. Poor lad, I shudder to think how he got covered in concrete. Looks like he has really fallen on his feet now, well done for taking him in. I have a deaf dog , her deafness is down to old age but she is quite good with hand signals. You just have to be careful she doesn't get on an interesting scent with her back to you otherwise its a dash to catch up with her

Good luck with Harry.

They aren't the best pics of his skinny bit, he his thinner around his middle behind his rib cage, but I do agree, he his fine weight wise!

Don't worry about the concrete, I stood in some wet concrete once

Hope you enjoy many happy walks together. As a child I had a deaf dog and she learnt to come back to me if I used hand movements/bobbed down. Make sure that cyclists don't go into her though. At least in those days cyclists weren't all over the pavements and parks as though they own the place
