After 3mths searching and 2 failed vettings on other ponies, Toby finally joined our family on 26 April. My daughter is thrilled with him.

Yesterday we took him to Trent Valley, Southwell, Notts where she came 6th in the Intermediate 14.2 & under jumping. We were really pleased, bearing in mind she's only had him a week!

Well done to Tamsin. That is quite impressive seeing as how recently she got him. A star in the making maybe??
 
I am really happy for you and your daughter. I have just been through the same thing except I was looking for 5 months! We have finally got a super pony who is settling in well and my daughter loves him. It was well worth the tears!

Thanks, it's funny how you start to recognise all the same ponies. Good luck with your search for a 14.2 I hope you find one soon.

Yes, it's a lovely name isn't it? She was named after Tamzin, a character in the books by Monica Edwards - although we have spelt it with an 's' instead of a 'z'.

Glad you found one too! It's so hard isn't it? Especially when twice we thought we had found 'the one' only for them to fail vettings. Having said that we are glad that they did otherwise we wouldn't now have Toby - he's fab and my daughter adores him
