I promised blingy/matchy-matchy pictures so here are a few that I took today - none of Jerry just yet as he's still shedding his horrible winter coat.

As part of his transformation from SJ-er to blingy dressage diva, I've spent ages with the shedders and attacked his mane - I took a good 6 inches off it today but I might take more off as it's still about 6 inches long.

anyhow, pictures as promised :D
some bling:

and the (sort-of) matchy-matchy saddle pads to go with it:
I figured this would go with the gold/diamante browband

and this could go with the diamante one

(sorry it's upside down, but you get the point).

I've got a flatwork lesson booked for thursday and someone has offered to school him for me :D She's on team Scotland so I'm really chuffed that she's offered - hopefully we'll both benefit from it

I have sets red, white, green and purple exercise bandages lying around somewhere so i figured that the red would go with both numnahs.
Im waiting on a pair of crimson pro-sport medicine boots coming so I could, in theory, use them. I've also got them in royal blue.
Funnily enough, Im a little short on cash this month so no new bandages for Jerry.. Wonder why that is? :p

I'll take a few pics of the short mane and bling tomorrow when Im up
I'll take pictures of Sarah schooling him too - she's a much better rider than me so he should look like a proper dressage diva :p

it's a rather pathetic attempt tbh because I've been up to my ears trying to find him a new home but we got there in the end.
Hope you like them x

Love the bling - I think Monty would pull the same face if I tried to put anything clean on him, let alone clean and blingy... He looked at me like I'd just fallen out of tree into his feedbucket when I presented him with his matchy boots :D

The saddleclothes are gorgeous, where did you get them embroidered? Look forward to seeing the full ensemble!

And are you sorted for a new place for him to live?

you cant go wrong with a bit of bling, i love taz's bling browbands cant stop myself from buying them :S he looks a really nice horse

Love the blingy browband , but boy is not looking too impressed - is this because you found him a new home?

He doesn't, does he? He's not been himself over the last 2-3 days - Im not sure if its because its been rather warm (was 20 degrees today) or because he's getting vibes from me (I was really upset about being forced to leave).

He'd also just been exercised so he was waiting very patiently for his treats  and was a bit knackered and puffy.

The saddle cloths are from a place called "tylers horse and country" - they're horze double-braided or something along those lines. I love them so much - I've got 3 of them and my dads got 4.

Thanks for asking about a new yard - I've managed to get a stable in Newton Mearns, which is about 15 miles from his current home - I'm going up to finalize things tomorrow so I can arrange for the transport company to come and get him a week on Monday. No point in hanging about longer than necessary and it means we can do our last BSJ comp of the year as i'll have no transport once we move (unless my dad takes pity on me and buys a trailer)

Oh great, really really hope that works out for the two of you. And really hope as well that your dad does take pity on you ;)
