With the Olympics getting closer and closer I am so so excited.

Though having said that with so many events being cancelled due to bad weather effecting the ground conditions I fear that we may not be as prepared as other nations?

It also worrys me what if the ground at Greenwich isnt as good as it should be? What if we have all this rain now and in the run up to the most important week in eventing history for the UK we have too much dry weather and the going is too hard or worst still too much rain again and too wet!

Our team will have enough pressure as it is with the Olympics being at home let alone worrying about what the weather might do and how the going may be.

I am excited yet nervous and i suspect the team even more so.

I feel with the Uk having such fantastic courses and the choice in riders and horses for our team we wouldnt have a problem and one just hopes that the weather starts coming back on our side to allow our team to train and compete for the best selection and training behind them to kick everyones ass in London 2012 and keep the Gold!

Well if the weather is dry they can water the course, if the weather is wet it is pretty difficult to dry it out...... I think we need to be hoping for dry weather soon!
