As he is slightly lame today , hope its a bruised sole , maybe a slow forming corn, he can't go to the riding club area qualifier. It is a great shame because it was a great team for our club in the open today , still there are 3 still competing just hope they do well.
This is his video [ thanks to total recall for allowing me to show it] from Purston Manor where he gained his first point in his second novice, [had one showjump down at Gatcombe last year]
Hope you enjoy it , I think he makes it look easy and he loves water but always jumps in too big.

What a fab video! You both make it look so easy. Lovely, rhythmical SJ round, and I particularly liked the little buck to finish! He's lovely isn't he, and congratulations on your first point!
Hope his lameness turns out to be nothing much.

If you only want to show 5 mins and do it free , then go on magic ripper and download the free trial version . Then load your dvd into pc and change format using ripper to avi [can get better quality on some other formats but then too long for photobucket]
Once you have done that go into your photobucket account and upload it[ sometimes difficult to find it in your pc]
If you want longer version [ as I have done] you will need to upgrade photobucket to pro[ can be done free if you buy something off their adverts, I bought ink] and also buy the magic ripper which is about £20.
Good luck it takes a bit of time but not difficult and you can also do a copy of your dvd, Just email the supplier of the dvd for permission or ask when you buy them . They all seem more than happy to oblige

That made nice viewing. He does settle into a lovely rhythm, and is so willing. Would have liked to have seen his dressage.
A lovely partnership.

I had a coloured , half TB mare by Lightening Dealer and put her in foal to Akkord [han] [ I wanted to go to Crown Marcasite but he unfortunately died , so I went to his sire]
I bred him for dressage but he is too tense and he got to foxhunter level SJ but then wasn't good enough .So we decided to battle his hatred of ditches and we have Nigel Taylor to thank that he now is pretty consistant xc.

Do you know I considered selling him last year but thought no one would buy him .I was thinking about £4500 . He has issues , he loves his girlfriend who he has been with all his life but I wouldn't trust him in a field with any other horse, but I would trust him with other horses when ridden. He is a head shaker and wears a net. He has to have perfect hay and it still has to be soaked. He doesn't like heavy traffic , he will only travel at the rear of the lorry not between partitions , as one fell on him when he was a baby.
I really think I would stuggle to sell him, so 'No, he is not worth much '.And I did promise him I would be with him when he was born and when he dies , so he isn't for sale, so it doesn't matter.

Fair enough (still think you are under valuing him though), well if you ever want someone to take him of your hands, I’ll have him, I think he is great!
