Took Toby to an Area 12 SS show today that is just down the road. It was rather soggy buy decided to go just for the novicey class at the start. Its only walk and trot and for horses who have not won a ss class before.
He was a good lad, had a 'opps' moment as we were first to change the rien on the go around and he cantered but came back and went nicely after that
I was soo chuffed to WIN! :elephant::elephant:
Judge was very nice and said i had a lovely natural position esp as i havn't been riding ss for long, but i must keep my cane in the right place!

You are meant to hold your cane were your 'leg' should be, i hold mine a little high, more like you would a scholling whip
