Just wondering as yet again I'm trying to work out the funds to see if I can afford one (every time I get some money together something goes wrong and yup there it goes again!) and would like to know what you guys have and what are they like? (to tow, space, comfort, ride for the horse etc) And if you dont mind, what you paid for it? Thanks :D

I've got an Ifor 505 that I bought 5 years ago (when it was 2 years old) for £2700.
In the time I have had it, it's cost me £250 for servicing and buying a full length breast bar.

I have had no problems with it and use a beast of a Toyota Landcruiser to tow it, so no issues with the actual pulling of it either :).

I just bought a new Bateson Deauville and i love it, very smooth ride lots of room for my 16.1 and it has a little saddle rack inside and a large front window....It cost me £3900 from a place in Stafford. Would highly recommend :)

new cheval liberte which has been fab except the right indicator doesn't work due to dodgy wiring, still fighting the supplier trying to get them to sort it out as only had it 3 weeks. it tows very light and horses love it (including my boy who doesn't load)

Cheval Liberte but I havent used it yet! Looks pretty tho and goes well with the stable colours (both dark green :-)). Like the fact its got independent suspension, which the Ifors dont I think.

I have an Ifor 505. Before that I had an ancient Rice trailer. The Ifor is definitely better in every way except for with the Rice I could reverse it through the eye of a needle and the Ifor for some reason I can't :( Just a mental block I think though

I am the very proud owner of an Ifor 505.........and um.... a Renault Clio.....which i love very much but you can see a slight problem here!??

Ifor HB505, it was 4 years old when we got it and cost £2200.

We use it pretty much every week, it tows fine and the horses seem to like it well enough.

being farmers,we ordered a multi purpose trailer for horses and livestock.its an Ifor Williams with the partitions and gates etc. for both jobs and its a foot higher than ordinary livestock jobs. cost £3100 5 years ago.

We have a rice richardson, we love it and so do the horses, all the horses/ponies we've travelled in it travel really well.
It's also practical having the front ramp on the left hand side, if you ever need to unload on the side of a road it's much easier.

Stock trailer (stock photo) the one our horses use is 18' though, pulled with a Dodge Ram.

Also have a 2 horse, bog standard bumper pull trailer for moving just one or two horses. Rear unload only. We use the GMC Sierra for that one.

I had a Lambourne in the UK, never used the front ramp at all, horses went fine in it, and best of all, it had a solid partition, I had a particularly nasty accident with a flappy partition in a IW once and won't use them now. Towed with a Defender 110 up and down the side of Welsh hills.

We have a wessex trailer. I love it! Often travel my 13.2 and friends 15.2 together and never had a problem with either :) I love the padding in it and has put up with alot of stress without signs of it! Bringing home a friends new horse who seemed to think it acceptable to kick and jump about while in it!! Horses eh!

We tow with a beast of a toyota land cruiser so no problem there at all! :D

A Rice, a very old one, might be a Beaufort? I paid £800 for it, get it checked and serviced regularly, and so far, so good with it.

I also use my friend's Requisite, they are very nice, very light weight and easy to manouvre The Rice weighs a bloody ton.
