I have been given some fish4dogs salmon mousse pouches that have a use by date of March this year - my friend was going to bin them.

I plan to freeze them and give as frozen treats when it's hot. As mine are fed raw and used to eating things a bit manky :p do you think this is o.k or can I expect mouth/bottom explosions? :D

I don't know for sure, but lots of products have the date purely for the integrity of the packaging and not the contents. Stuff in jars and medication are classic examples.

I'd go for it, they're completely sealed, can't see how much could go wrong with them in a foil pouch. :)

I snip off the corner and squeeze into a kong before freezing, jamming in whatever kibble or treats I have to hand, Ricoh finishes his in ten minutes but it keeps Dax going for an hour.
