Thought I would get more replies here, just checking my gastro guard supplies for this season and realised the two I have left go out of date this month, my horses first event is in April will these be ok to use or should I get some new ones?

A few years ago, when my horse had just been treated for ulcers, I suggested to the vet that I might like to give him a maintenance course over the autumn (which seemed to be his bad time). Vet agreed and said he’d order some in. He then rang back to say he had some with a week’s date on (and that would go out of date well before the course was due to finish) that he’d let me have for half price if I wanted. He said it would be totally fine to use and shouldn’t lose effectiveness that quickly. I jumped at the bargain and was more than happy to use it.

Yeah why not. I always use out of date things. Unless they come with a "will kill you if used" warning.
