Out of order people!! sorry ranting!

Escorted a ride out today and we had to stick to the roads as the fields we too wet....anyhow we had children on the ride (about 11 yrs old) and a car come speeding towards us so I indicated for them to slow down. They did slow down and I waved to say "thanks" and they mouthed w****** at us!

I could not believe it....how rude. Surely they understand why I was indicating for them to slow down especially seeing we had children with us!!
Shame that I did not get to mouth "Morons" at them!!

I would've thought they'd slowed down to insult you rather than because of the horses/children TBH.....

It always amazes me - we rode back along the lane today, two riders, two horses and 5 dogs. All the traffic that comes down this lane are tourists who are driving to the car park (dead end lane - goes nowhere else) and yet even though they slowed down and were thanked profusely by us, they all look so bloody miserable as if it would pain them too much to smile back - I can't image that they would have a very fun family day out!
