I am moving soon and for my dogs safety I would like to get them a pen for outdoors - does anyone have any reccommendations or examples and anything I need to consider when buying one?

Thanks

Try to get part if not all of the roof section covered to protect from rain/extreme heat (!) and obviously a box for them to sleep in. Wood if they don't chew, heavy duty plastic or steel if they do!

Ours are the flat-pack, easy assemble panels type, which are fine for small dogs but our bitch has completely separated the mesh from the panel on one corner by bouncing up against it and we have had to re-attach using cable-ties. Very classy.

We have put down flags for easier cleaning (easy to lift poo and scrub with a brush), but have not cemented them down in case we need to move them for some reason or other.

If, as I recall, you have JRTs, you might want to make doubly sure that you have a hard surface down inside so that they don't try to dig out!

Oh right - ours were laid on gravel, so they kinda 'sank'.
If you get one with a roof on, that should weight it down. Took two men to put ours on its' side, without the roof.

Ah ok - too weighty for jacks to move then lol i had visions of them pushing it over!!

Hi, I used this company when I bought a kennel for my spaniels. It was easy to put up. Took Two of us about a day and they love it. It is also on concrete and hasn't moved an inch even though one on the dogs jumps up at rhe mesh.
