Hi does anyone know of or can reccomend any companies which can construct these as I need to get quotes to apply for grants.
Preferably in Scotland but it doesn't really matter.
I would also like to hear from anyone that has constructed their own at a reasonably low cost.
I have searched on google but there only seems to be a few come up and they are mostly in the south of England.
Thanks!

We have built three, the first one was purely ash on a hard surface because it was dirt cheap (terrible idea, the horses and riders ended up black!!)
The next cost £15000 and was 20 x 40, sand surface, reasonable but not brilliant.
The last is 20 x 60 built last year by ourselves, cost around £11000 and is brilliant. It threw it down today when the two local PClubs were using it for training, yet no water appeared and the footing was perfect.
pm me for details of how we did it.

Our stables were built by people in Forres. It was a bit like flat pack, they biult them in their yard them put them up at out house. They are 10 years old now and are still really nice. Look for timber yards many don't specialise in stables will make them.

No where near scotland but our 4 stables with concrete based (extended to gateway) 2 12ft gate and 2 4ft gates plus handbuilt wooden stables with talk grilles and full metal round doors, 4ft overhangs, front and rear drains and damp proofing came to just over £12k, 20 x 60 post and 3 rail fences sand and rubber arena (fully membraned) came to £18k

Hope that help - based S Lincs
