Has anyone got one of these? Saw them in a shop the other day and they seemed really tough and sturdy but the only had the tiny sizes left :(

The tag said you could pressure wash them and they did look great for the price. I would need to order 2 online so just looking to see if anyone has 'tried and tested' them before I order them. I have 3 JRT's that like to chew tiny holes in beds and pull out all the stuffing. Grrr

We stock them and Herman is currently asleep on one of the green mats. He's not a chewer but he does dig (enthusiastically) and hasn't managed yet to rip the outer of the mat. He's had it about a year now. It never gets washed either cos it's his work bed  We just shake it out and hoover it occasionally! It doesn't smell.

The blue ones (Bainbridge I think they're called) are really good value for money - we can't keep them in stock :) A friend of mine has 2 for her house and one for the car. One of hers sucks and nibbles (!!) his beds and hasn't killed it yet.

I've 2 of these type, the dogs approve of its comfort level.

I liked that the material was thick compared with some other waterproof beds i'd seen, it copes with my dogs nesting, but they don't chew. I don't think i've washed the beds yet, they don't smell & hoover clean, i've spilt a drink on it and it mopped up easily. I've had them about 7 months and i'm very pleased that its still in good shape and the cushion hasn't flattened or gone lumpy which is a problem we've had with other beds.

I used to work for the company that used to do the warehousing and dist. for Outhwaites as a side project but the products became so popular it got too much so they moved elsewhere.

Don't know where you are based but they have a shop/rope factory in Hawes (North Yorks) where they sell products.
