Outlines

Hi,

It would be really good to see the different outlines expected of horses from Prelim to Advance Medium. I am poop at putting images on this site so if anyone can help!!!

I think having an image as to what is expected it will help me when looking at my photos and vidoes etc.

.. I know feel comes into it also but just to see the overall picture can help ie. shows the relaxation, contact, forward movement, hind limb action, impulsion etc..... thanks!!!

If you are not a member of BD, try to get hold of the BD Magazine - lots and lots to dribble in awe over

I think you would find it very hard to find the right pictures, even at advanced medium the way of going of different horses varies so much.

I would get out and watch a lot of classes, get an impression of what looks right and then look at the marks on the scoreboard.

If you go to a championship you might find that the quality doesnt vary quite so much. Then you can look at the photgraphs of those horses you felt went best.

Problem with pictures only is that they can only show a moment and not the overall way of going.

Show centres are always looking for writers etc and then you could hear the comments too.
