Over 100 horses removed from premises in Pwllheli by joint operation

Another major welfare/cruelty case .

More than 100 horses, 122 chickens and rabbits were removed from land for their welfare in the Pwllheli area on Tuesday, North Wales Police said.

The "large scale cruelty case" was a joint operation between the RSPCA and North Wales Police.
Sgt Taylor said all the animals rescued were in a "terrible condition".

"A truly harrowing day for all of the team and a case will be taken against the person responsible," he said.

Horrible to read but the animals have been removed and are receiving the care and attention they need. As long as I live I will never understand people. I’m going out in the rain now to hug my horses and tell them what they mean to me.

According to fb this is the guy who had the Criccieth stud and was jailed for 10 weeks in 2011 and was banned for 10 years, its now in his daughters name.

When I saw the area I guessed it may be the same family, it was not sorted out properly last time so they will have just continued to keep going much as before.

No further update (yet!) on this one in Jan last year where 200 animals were lifted. Cant find any updates on it since the early days of the court case in March this year. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/farm-horrors-animal-limb-buckets-21639177
Their family have been restocking on the site, so am sure there will end up with more being lifted again.....

I remember the last case. You would have hoped the place/people were being kept a closer eye on.
