Over or Under? Body Protector - Interested in photos and Kanteq

Just trying to figure it out really. Thinking Hacking/Hunting/Show jackets for Hunting and posh hunter trials.
Wouldnt it be nice to try on coats and see first!?! (Sarcastic comment there - my local tack shops have one, each, at most! - its just not do-able!)

Does anyone have a kanteq they wear underneath? (I was thinking of investing in my spine) but worried about the shoulders making me pat butcher like?
If i do put it underneath, will i look like a potato sack?
what jackets/BPs do people sqeeze in underneath?

Wouldnt it be handy to have some kind of exoskeleton thats really really thin - im thinking spray on
Am I being a little bit silly? - over the top works ok so far i suppose.... but i feel a bit concious that im the only one in the field with it over the top - makes my poor horse look like a nutter - she totally isnt!!!

kanteqs are fairly bulky, you'd look a bit like a weeblewobble with one under a jacket i think... x

When i bought my RP i was told they were designed to go as near to your skin as possible. Have only ever worn a thin top under mine.

I like to wear my bp out hunting - I've never come off yet but wearing it has become a habit! I bought a navy jacket a size larger than usual and my Charles Owen bp fits neatly underneath it. Most people don't notice that I'm wearing it tbh.

OH wont let me Hunt without a BP - and really my brain tells me its sensible!
