Over priced?

I'd say it was more than a bit..... More like £2000 over priced & that's being generous!

Most foals are fetching IRO £500/£1000 max if they have good breeding.

It's an American Saddlebred X Appaloosa. Nothing remarkable so the only reason I can think it's priced at what it is is because of the 'pretty' colour. Which could soon fade.

Yes, very cute & pretty but not worth what they are asking IMO.

we pay that for quality sec A foals, you can buy a wb type with good breeding for that. if i had the money i would pay 3000 for him i think he is very nice

If thats what someone wants and is looking for
£3k is nothing really is it? a months wages a watch!!

Hence why everyone in the UK goes abroad to get the decent horses - cos £1k wont cover your stud fees let alone anything else !!

looks nice to me and different ;-)

What foals with 'good breeding' are you looking at?

Not the sport ones. Just the usual registered pony foals etc.

Obviously the sport bred ones (not that I know much about them) can go for a lot.

I'm talking general market. Not specialised sport breeding.

Obviously coloured foals etc are going for a lot more than I thought they were worth
