Over reach boots to small...HELP!!

Hi,

I have tried so many over reach boots in XL but they are all too short in length for my horse therefore completely useless. The XL fits in width but comes nowhere near the bottom of the shoe and as he throws shoes alot when out in field it is becoming a problem as dont want to damage his feet by getting them redone all the time after a few weeks.

Had tried cutting the tops off boots to make them go down more but am worried they would come off or get caught and horse gets hurt...any suggestions??

have tried XL roma boots which appear to be longest but still are to short and every other brand ive tried havent been much better!

plz help!

I have this problem aswell. Try the traditional westtrop petal over-reach boots. I find this is the only way to get good fitting over-reach boots for big footed horses.

Woof Wear Kevlar over reach boots are really really deep, give them a try.

Pariani IMHO are the best over reach boots that you can get, my boy wears them in the field 24/7 in the summer.

Tesco's neoprene overeach boots are very deep and very cheap but extremely good quality and very hardwearing.

I have the same problem with several horses. We now use duct tape around the edge of shoe at heel area. We use it for grazing & jumping. Not lost a shoe in 12 months.
