Poor Kristal over reached on Saturday morning... Well the cut seems to be healing very nicely, i kept her in for 2 days and kept it clean etc, decided to turn her out today with a cover on the cut as do not want mud in it, she ran of joyfully this morning and looked fine when i checked her later and was walking up the field happliy when i went to get her... but after i put her to bed and gave her haylage she seemed very uncomfortable on her feet, fidgety and shifting weight, there is no heat or swelling in her foot or leg so i can only presume it's badly bruised!!!

Any one had a similar thing, I'm unsure if she's better in or out, I had decided in for a couple more days with walks in hand to keep her moving, luckily she has a large stable.

Any advise appreciated...

Mine did this a fortnight ago. I kept her in for a week with it covered, and just took her for some in-hand grazing after a couple of days. I turned her out for an hour after a week, and have been gradually building up her time out - today is her first day out properly, so I'm hoping she comes in ok this evening...

It sounds like yours might have overdone it at the weeekend, and I think you're doing the right thing keeping her in for a bit longer.
