Can anyone recommend good overalls to pull on while mucking out. I have always tended to be on the smelly side but since I have gone to DIY I smell like a skunk.

Even I can smell me and I have hay fever and sinus problems.

I don't have overalls - I have a couple of pairs of mens combat trousers from Matalan - come in a tougher fabric than the womens - that I can put on over jods etc Were a massive £2 a pair......

I nicked mine when I used to work for a Ford garage

.

Army surpus stores are good - or look up industrial workwear on the internet you can get good stuff including hi viz much cheaper.

Your local Farm store will have them (Mole Valley, do you have one near you?) anywhere that sells work clothes. Get cotton duck ones, they wash well, not very flattering but so what.

Believe me, you do NOT smell like a skunk

unless you have been near burning tyres (and even then, Tarrsteps will agree, I only use burning tyres as a vague description). My stupid foal smells like a skunk again today, I wish he'd stop chasing them!

I've got to ask . . . how does anyone in the UK know what a skunk smells like (or more precisely, what skunks make other animals smell like

) since they don't live here, do they?

Another option can be water resistant running pants and jacket or similar but they can be very hot to work in in the summer. Easy to pull on and off and wash, though.
