Soo, is it just me being over protective or do you all do the same?

We have 3 new liveries coming on Friday who will be put in my big field next to the one im in now so my little girl ccan get to no them then after a few days she will go out with them, im such a worrier though, is it just me being silly or are you all the same.

Shes been on her own for months now since her field mate left in January, however when i first put her out with him she put her head straight down a grazed.....

I worry as well, but at least they are getting to know each other over the fence first, and think how much nicer it will be for her to have friends

O god yeah i want her to have buddies out the field, im just a worrier i think because they are already field mates where they are coming from.

I think you're right to be worried

My horse was kicked in the field out with a new horse and fractured his splint bone. He's all better now, but he was turned out with YO's horse and after a couple of days they were playing (we think) and YO's horse ended up with a fractured hock. It's now touch and go as to whether he's going to make it

If you're really worried I'd ask to remove back shoes for a bit while they get to know each other. Even if it's only a week.

True, i havn't seen them yet till they arrive so i will see what they are like, apprently they are totally innofencive, i'll see what they are like in the field and over fence and if not happy then i will say i don't want her with them.

Not at all overprotective! Mine isn't even allowed out with others, it's too much hassle. Someone is always injured etc. Individual turn out is much easier.
