It cannot just be me?

I have a Thoroughbred with the typical dainty legs. He has Pony size overreach boots and they're still too big!

He's nearly 16.2hh by the way, so he's not exactly pony size. I have to overlap the velcro on the current pair (just cheap Shires - or Roma - ones as they were his first pair in case he needed them when I first got him and he absolutely does!) so am considering that i'll have to just buy a different sort - any recommendations? Does anybody do an Extra-Small size for horses with silly thin legs?!!

What about the westrop over reaches - the clicky petal ones. You can remove petals & shorten the strap to make them smaller. The new style are a lot quieter too clicking wise btw.

That's all I can think of short of going to the pretty ponies site or something & they'll probably be pink & bling covered! lol

Good luck!

You could try the professional's choice ones, I have some for my 14.2 welsh cob x, they are a large and they only just fit (if I hadn't already had to send the medium pair back that I had prev ordered would have been tempted to try extra large to compare...) he does not have the biggest feet in the world and in other makes he is a medium / cob size! Only problem is that they are on the pricey side (£20 odd I think!) BUT had mine a few years now and they're still ok (most previous pairs he trashed within a few weeks, record was managing to pull one off and destroy the other out on a hack 1st time he wore them... never bought cheap rubber ones after that!). They also don't seem to spin around much either. Anyway like I say those ones do seem to come up rather small so may be worth a shot

If you want cheap rubber ones, Roma are the strongest! I have gone through so many pairs with my tb I seem to be an expert. The Roma ones do come up big. Otherwise, I do use woofwear ones if she is being exceptionally stupid! They do take some abuse. They come up small though and she just fits in a large pair! They are all different especially tbs!

Ps robinsons normally have cheap small overreach boots, often their small pony overreach boots are £12 for woof wear ones!
