My horse came in this morning with an overreach cut on the bottom of his right front heel. He's not lame but the cut is quite deep and has created a flap. I have clean the wound with salt water but should I clean it with hibiscrub? As it's quite strong even when I diluted. I am going to wrap it and obviously put a dressing on it but should I put the dressing on dry or soak it in hot water first? Thanks for your help:-)

Personally I wouldnt use Hibiscrub, just salt water 2/3 times a day for the first day or 2. I wouldnt wrap it up either but would let the fresh air get to it, provided your horse isnt standing in mud. These injuries often look worse than they actually are. Do you have some Dermagel or something similar just to keep the flies out for the initial period? I would also put some overeach boots on too. My friends horse did this once in the lorry on the way to the beach. It was amazing to see that after a good paddle in the sea it looked almost healed up by the time we went home. Just keep a close eye on it which I am sure you will to make sure it doesnt turn infected in case you need anti-biotics.
