Puppy has been crated in the house overnight until now but busy season is kicking in, and she’s 5 months old soon so needs to start sleeping out in the kennel.
She’s in there quite happily when we are out or busy. She tends to go in with Beagle but is ok on her own as well.
But she doesn’t go in the bedroom. She’s no need to, the run is covered and sheltered and has 2 beds in it. But at night when the others go to bed she won’t be able to see another dog.
Beagle currently sleeps in the house but I think my current plan is to put her and pup out after last widdles and leave them to it. Beagle will probably go in the bedroom.
But what if Beagle doesn’t want to sleep outside again…

And no those who are going to suggest it, she’s not sleeping in the house forever.

Whilst it’s warm I wouldn’t worry, maybe she’s just not felt the need to go in there & prefers watching the world go by? If she’s only been in there during day maybe she’s just genuinely not felt the need to “go to bed” yet

Well they are out tonight. We don’t have a window that overlooks the kennels but the window nearest to them is open and it’s all quiet.
Even if she is sleeping outside (unlikely I think, she’s a bit scared of the dark 😃) it’s so warm she’ll be fine. I was also worried the beagle might trash the kennel, she did when she first came here… 🤞… but hopefully she’s more settled now.
