Overweight 14.2!

Well, he has another name but we call him fatboy slim! - pony arrived last week, very overweight but sound and happy. Have started hacking him out everyday, some lungeing, and restricting grass, keeping him in each night and gradually the pork is coming off.

He does however have some fat pockets behind saddle area, is there anyway to break these down either with massage or similar or will they just go? He looks like an show pony that has been produced then left to get fat!!! - cellulite!! Bless him

Was toying with taking him swimming at our local EC but not sure he would cope with that just yet!!!

Any ideas?
 
LOL, snap! We got a fatboy slim a few weeks ago! (was even written on his saddlecloth!)
A few weeks with us on a fat pad and small net at night, along with exercise is starting to shift the pounds

well its not a mininature thats for sure!!! Well done on horse mag babe!!

He is 14.2 section D cross so chunky to start with but he has wobbly bits too!! - great fun...and doesnt act daft on the road....
