ok,im not 1 for throwing money away on gadgets and new horsy bits&bobs... but does oxy-shot really calm them down? (all im asking is 4 mins to do a decent test!!)as if it does,id be saving a vast amount of cash i waste on calmers that do nothing! it works out 2.50 each dose(doesnt seem bad IF it works).

*Hides* lol

I'm sure everyone can be mature about this

oh b*gger! i take it thats a no then?? knew it was just another RIPOFF.
I think i did ask on here b4 about it but it got all 2 tech and way over my head so i lost interest in the posts!! i just wanted a simple YES or No answer hehehehe.

I think you need to try it yourself and see what you think, it might work it might not, some top people have had good results using it.

I think the science backing it up is pretty dodgy

Think it went something like this:

Oxygen is absorbed through the lungs, not through the stomach wall.

Some people have tried it and thought it worked, but others suggested that was the 'placebo effect'.

Having read all the blurb in their magazine ads, I think it's a load of bull but what do I know?

well Nupafeed?is the only calmer i havent tried,as im sick of wasting my money on these things. Its expensive isnt it?wudnt mind IF it worked. Is it a daily does or just on comp days?as shes fine at home, just need something on the day.

I've seen people get good results with Nupafeed, have heard conflicting opinions on oxyshot.
Also know of one horse who nupafeed had no affect on what so ever so unfortunatly I think it's a case of trial and error until you find something that suits your horse.

Have you tried the chapest option of brewers yeast? Seems quite a few people on here have had good results with it.

i dont think oyshott was primarily designed to be a calmer, in the people who say it works that has just been a side effect, it was supposed to increase the oxygen in te blood and therefore improve performnce i think but the science was not reliable according to the last debate so if its a calmer you want i would get a specific one and nuafeed does seem to get good reports.
