Planning on going for an longish ramble with the dog tomorrow and would like to find somewhere she can swim (bloody thing loves water!) - any suggestions welcome!

We live in Gloucester so north forest is preferable but happy to drive up to 1.5hrs

Thanks

Dymock woods - there is a fab lake for her to swim in :) Try googling Queens Wood Dymock, that should get you there - it is just down the road from Newent, some lovely walking and the obligatory swim :)

Looks good have you been to mallard pike?

Yep lots of times - nice lake, quite popular and busy although possibly not at this time of year :) Just a minor point, you will have to pay for parking there
