My horses have just come home after being apart for a month, we have noticed last night and tonight they both start pacing around d the perimeter of their field does anyone know the reason to this I am a little worried as never seen this behaviour before?

No idea, but my 2 have 'play time' timetabled for 5am........they wake me up with their thundering!

On a more serious note are they used to recieving a feed at this time? Mine will pace when first turned out 24/7 as anticipating a feed, but soon stop after a few days when they realise they are in a new routine.
