I wanted to say that I’m new to owning ponies, all advice appreciated please! Tonight my mare is pacing the same track over and over again. My 2 daughters are down at the field with her, as is a friend. Usually we let the 2 ponies out into the big field for a run around, then back into their smaller field for the night. It’s still a generous sized field with grass, but not as much grass as the big field...my 2 ponies would just eat non stop! Both ponies have been put into the smaller field for the night, I don’t know why she’s pacing! I wondered if it’s because there is a tiny change in her routine? (Today we’ve been down for an extra visit with different people) Could it be that she’s just fed up with visitors? Or could she be in a huff that she’s been brought in to the smaller field? No idea! She seems to be pacing a loop, round and round and round....
