Padding for older Ifor Williams 505

Can anyone help me find some replacement padding for my 1994 trailer see pic?

No longer obtainable from IW.

It is 2070mm x 720mm x 5.3mm thick, foam with plastic skin.

Any suggestions where I could get something similar appreciated.

Yes unfortunately the item you refer to C79243/1 Composite Padding. PP SHEET/FOAM 1 x 735 x 2070mm HB401/505 right hand side, is only 1mm thick at the edges.

In fact I've bought two sheets of this from IW, but am having 2nd thoughts as I'm not sure it is tough enough to be screwed on as my old padding is. One of the brand new sheets has a small tear in the edge already!!

Alternatively I need to get new clamping strips - more expense!

Oh, that's a shame!! IW are usually so good for spares too!

Someone on here was talking about making partition padding recently I think, and I'm sure they said they bought some foam and vinyl cover from Dunelm Mill, then stapled it to a backing board.
