confused.gif
to remove it or will the ponys be ok i dont want them to get colic thanks

its more after its just been cut that u should be carefull as its starts to heat up and ferments causing colic, i wouldnt like to say wether they would be ok though, some one with more experience of this can advise better,

Yes, I would try and get the grass off the field. In a while it will start to rot anyway on the field, depending on rainfall etc.

Could you get someone to bale it up for you into hay if it is very recently cut?

I'd check very very thoroughly for ragwort too. Bet your bottom dollar there will be some in an uncared for field and once wilted in hay, ragwort is even more dangerous.
