Does anyone know someone who does paddock maintenance in or around the Worplesdon/Guildford area? Also what is a general idea of price as I haven't paid for this to be done before and have no idea!

you shouldnt be paying more than 6 pounds an hour for labor.
materials should be 2 pounds for a fence post and 25 pounds for a meter of barbed wire. Anything elselike plumbing and electrics you will have to shop around for the best professional price.
Employ a group of uni students for a day or get your male family members to help.
Also under your lease agreement a certain amount of the work should be done by the land owner as the paddock shoulld be "fit for purpose" meaning it must be in a satisfactory state to keep horses before they can accept money in rent.
You can do most of the organisation and work yourself before having to rely on an outsider who will always want to make a profit out of you.
I have found that using free stuff like tree fellers offcuts and fallen branches from the surrounding area can make strong fences.
